Job Description:

A Solutions Data Architect is responsible for overseeing and delivering large scale data applications. Also validating the logical models, ensuring standards, driving consolidation of redundant data, and enforcing the strategic vision through data models. The Architect role has an in-depth understanding of both our business capabilities and how it aligns to our enterprise data models. Partners with Enterprise Architecture to consult on and develop domain models. Consults with project teams and functional units on the design of important projects or services. consults with business leadership on the design of systems and projects. May consult with leadership on emerging technologies.

Skillset Needed:

Expertise in architecting and executing large scale data applications

Use machine learning and analytical techniques to create scalable solutions for business problems.

Expertise in Cloud Native Data technologies, preferably in certifications in Azure Synapse

Good experience in Spark & SparkSQL and Databricks

Hands on expertise in Jupyter Notebooks, wrangling & statistical inferencing data using Pandas, and feature identification.

Ability to make architectural decisions that enable scalability of data platforms.

Hands on coding expertise in Java, Python, R and Scala and Machine Learning libraries like Scikit-Learn, Pytorch and Tensorflow.

Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large dataset analysis, model development, and validation

Expertise in data noise removal, augmentation and visualization using statistical methods.

Experience in ensuring data quality via cleaning techniques and tuning models and hyper parameters.

Strong mathematical background including linear algebra, probability theory and statistics.

Experience in data visualization tools like Tableau and PowerBI and working with data storage formats like Parquet.

Practical experience with the end-to-end DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

Ability to create intuitive, testable, maintainable, secure and efficient code.

Financial services industry experience preferred.

Experience in the day-to-day practicalities of Agile software Product Development Lifecycles such as Scrum, SAFe, DAD, Lean Agile, Kanban, etc.
