Position: Mongo DBA

Location: Louisville, KY (Remote Until COVID)

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Primary Skills:

• Configure and maintain database clusters of type replicas and shards including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high level of performance, availability and security.
• Troubleshoot the configuration issues in Atlas and Ops Manager. Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real-time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
• Ops manager installations and version upgrades.
• Backup and restore of the replica and shared clusters.
• Monitor database performance implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required.
• Provide proactive and reactive data management support, database version upgrades, resync, perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity.
• Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes. Shell scripting and tuning.
• Assist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours. Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members.
