Senior Data Architect (Hands-on data & full-stack architecture, coding experience)

Connect with business stakeholders to understand their strategic priorities and help them define data products and services that will advance their long-term goals

• Prioritize data projects that support diverse needs like product features, analytics, service levels, and communications 
• Define specific technology requirements that can efficiently direct the work of engineers
• Communicate to senior stakeholders your data architecture vision and coordinate with our technology leadership team where needed to stay aligned
• Represent PSG and the Data Office on the technology leadership committee to maintain alignment

Requirements

• 10+ years hands-on data & full-stack architecture & coding experience handling high volume of data
• 5+ years’ experience building data platforms dealing with MDM, data quality and data operation tools
• 5+ years’ experience leading data integration technology solutions
• 2+ years’ experience working on modern micro-services, container-based and cloud native architecture
• 3+ years’ experience leading a (mid to large) team of development and quality engineers
• Responsible for solution architecture diagrams that align across business and technology requirements
• 3+ years’ experience coding experience with server side NodeJS, Java, .Net, and GraphQL
• 3+ years’ experience with designing and implementing production Graph Databases
• Strong experience using Python, SQL, and Gremlin for data mining and manipulation
• Strong experience in designing and building rules engines
• Experience with real-time, event-based, Pub/Sub, and message-based architectures
• Strong experience in Search – (e.g. Elastic Search, Lucene, etc.)
• Hands-on experience in Machine Learning for personalization and cognitive AI solutions

o   NLP

o   Conversational interface

o   Helping build recommendation & personalization engines in partnership with data scientists

o   Building the pipeline for Data Science, model and data versioning, consuming models, model interpretation, feedback loop

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, drive change, and collaborate effectively across the organization
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Desire to create business value through data infrastructure, reporting, and analytics
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and prioritization skills
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Wealth Management or Investment Banking client's experience is added.
