We are looking for an experienced Linux OS developer to develop a virtual memory solution for our unique Migratory Thread architecture.  Candidate must have a solid understanding of the underlying operation of virtual memory and be capable of designing a high performance implementation for a unique architecture. Sr. Architect / Sr Software Engineer  ( Work from home and experience the challenge of a technology frontier)

Duties 

• Write and maintain specifications for virtual memory solution
• Implement, test, and optimize virtual memory in a custom Linux environment
• Interact with hardware development team 

Requirements  

• At least 5+ years of relevant industry or academic experience
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related field
• Strong Linux device driver development experience, especially with high throughput devices
• Experience with embedded Linux, such as Yocto, desired
• Good understanding of virtual memory, its implementation, and factors that influence performance
• Highly productive developer in C or similar language
• Proficient in scripting language such as Python, Perl, Shell
• The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills, an exacting attention to detail, and an ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively within a cross functional team environment. Strong written and oral communication is a must.
